What is Your Return Policy?
All sales are not subject to a refund. In some cases, only merchandise exchanges or store credit may be issued. If an order cancellation is necessary, a written request to Color Story must be approved before any order can be cancelled. All returns will not have a restocking fee for 7 days if the returned merchandise is returned in unopened original condition with the manufacturers' seal. If the package is returned in opened condition, there is a minimum 10% restocking fee. 20% restocking fee on ALL RETURNED GOODS FOR CREDIT after 7 days. It is the customer's responsibility to bring or ship the products to our facility for exchange. No store credit is issued after 15 days. All sale and markdown items are final sale. Sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. Absolutely no returns for special orders. $25.00 charge for any returned checks. Claims for any damage must be made within 2 days upon receipt of merchandise and all items returned for credit must be in the original packaging with all parts included. Shipping and handling are non refundable, including but not limited to all refused and unaccepted packages.
How Long Does the Returns Process Take?
It takes approximately 4-7 business days to process your return from the time we receive it. Credit back to your original card may take an additional 4-7 business days depending on your provider. The entire process will take approximately 2 weeks.
How Can I Make a Refund or Exchange?
If you need to return or exchange an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the “Complete Orders” link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We’ll notify you via e-mail of your refund or exchange once we’ve received and processed the returned item. Color Story is not liable for returns or exchanges sent without a return form enclosed.
We suggest you use priority mail or a carrier that provides tracking, as Color Story is not responsible for lost shipments.
EXCHANGES: The original discount or promotional code only applies to items where the same style originally purchased is being exchanged for a different color or size. If you choose to exchange the item for a different style, the discount from the original style purchased cannot be transferred to the new style.
I Received an Item That is Damaged, What Should I Do?
Please contact an Color Story Customer Service Representative at 323.264.9606 or e-mail us at email@example.com. We will e-mail you a pre-paid shipping label and you can return the damaged item/s to us. We will also send your replacement item right away.
