    What makes Color Story different from others?

    Established in 2009, Color Story Clothing opened our fashion showroom in the center of Los Angeles Fashion District. Color Story is an innovative women’s fashion basics brand that cherishes excellent design and quality, offering beautiful clothes that no one can match at its price point. Providing unparalleled customer service and a personal shopping experience, Color Story curates and produces a collection of fashion basics, providing guests from both retail and wholesale with a unique vision of what’s best every season. Since we do not use distributors, you’re assured of getting a great product at a fantastic price. We remain a family business and treat our customers as “family.”



    Do you wholesale to anyone?

    Although we have a retail section for non-wholesalers, we only wholesale our products to qualified businesses that embellish and/or resell merchandise.

    How can I setup a wholesale account with Color Story?

    Simply click on the Become a Wholesaler tab and follow the instructions. It’s easy and fast…and feel free to consult with our customer service team should you have any questions.

    Do You Have Wholesale Showroom?

    Yes, we have a showroom for wholesale accounts. For location and hours of operation please visit the bottom of the webpage.

    I'd like to get a sample; do I still have to open an account?

    We do have a merchandise sample program made available to our registered and approved customers. Contact us for more info.



    How Can I View the Status of My Order?

    Log into My Account.  From your My Account Dashboard you have the ability to view a snapshot of your recent account activity, check order status, view all account options, and update your account information.

    What Payment Types Do You Accept?

    Color Story accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover for your convenience.

    Do you offer any financing options?

    Credit terms may be available to those customers in good standing subject to a credit check and meeting certain financial standards. We also accept credit cards.

    Do you have minimums?

    Minimum order amount is $50.00 (except CARGO: $400.00 minimum CARGO Delivery).

    What comes in each package?

    Typically each package includes one color with a total of 6 pieces with sizes ranging from 2 smalls, 2 mediums, 2 larges.



    Where do you ship from and how do you ship?

    All items are shipped FOB from our head quarters & distribution center in Vernon, California (90058). United Parcel Service (UPS) is our preferred carrier and shipping method. Shipping options: Ground (3-7 days), 3rd Day and Next DayDepending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page. We can ship "CARGO" located in Los Angeles area with $400 minimum.

    Do You Ship Internationally?

    Yes, we ship worldwide.

    How are shipping rates calculated?

    Shipping rates are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

    Can I pick up my order?

    Absolutely! Just call to make arrangements with our customer service team.

    How quickly can you ship my order?

    Most orders are shipped within 24 hours of approval. Please note that customers have to be in good standing.

    Do you have distributors?

    Color Story sells directly to you and not through a distributor. This allows us to keep our fingers on the pulse of the marketplace and guarantees you that you’ll get amazing pricing.



    What is Your return Policy?

    All sales are not subject to a refund. Returns and exchanges are available for full-price items only. All sale and markdown items are final sale. Sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. We do not accept returns at our showroom location. All returns and exchanges require return authorization by our ecommerce department. Shipping and handling are non-refundable. It is the customer’s responsibility to bring or ship back the products to our facility for exchange. Customers will assume return shipping costs and a 20% restocking fee.

    How Long Does the Returns Process Take?

    It takes approximately 4-7 business days to process your return from the time we receive it. Credit back to your original card may take an additional 4-7 business days depending on your provider.  The entire process will take approximately 2 weeks.  For more information please see our Returns & Exchanges page.

    How Can I Make a Refund or Exchange?

    If you need to return or exchange an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the “Complete Orders” link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We’ll notify you via e-mail of your refund or exchange once we’ve received and processed the returned item. Color Story is not liable for returns or exchanges sent without a return form enclosed.

    We suggest you use priority mail or a carrier that provides tracking, as Color Story is not responsible for lost shipments.  For more information please see our Returns & Exchanges page.

    EXCHANGES: The original discount or promotional code only applies to items where the same style originally purchased is being exchanged for a different color or size. If you choose to exchange the item for a different style, the discount from the original style purchased cannot be transferred to the new style.

    I Received an Item That is Damaged, What Should I Do?

    Please contact an Color Story Customer Service Representative at 323.232.5678 or e-mail us at  We will e-mail you a pre-paid shipping label and you can return the damaged item to us.  We will also send your replacement item right away.



    What Are the Care Instructions For Your Garments?

    Most of our garments should be washed in cold water and tumbled dry on low heat. Care instructions are also listed on the garment tag.

    How Do Your Sizes Work?

    Our garments come in multiple fits, including regular fit, slim fit, relaxed fit, etc. Please view our full Size & Fit Guide to view all fits, sizes, and measurements for our apparel.

    What Kind of Fabrics Do You Use?

    We use an assortment of fabrics and materials to produce our super-soft apparel and accessories.

    How Can I Locate a Product With Care/Size Label?

    Each product has a style number printed on the care/size label that correlates to a specific product. If you cannot locate the style you are looking for on the website, please contact an Color Story Customer Service Representative at or call 323.232.5678.
